Primary Job Function

  • To lead the Korea Acquisition team in targeting the market in a manner that maximizes share capture and renewal win rates, through highly effective strategic sales strategy development and excellent tactical execution.
  • Develop customer solutions and relationships and implement activities that drive Customer Loyalty.
  • Manage ongoing strategic opportunities in Abbotts largest and most important customers; to Amplify the value creation for customers 

Core Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Account Managers (EAM), Sales Executives (SE) and Specialists (including Technical Solution Design, Hematology Sales Specialist and IACC (Core Lab) Sales Specialists. Support and coach for maximum performance; establish portfolio of targeted accounts and set and achieve financial, win rate and other commercial and customer goals.

2. Establish and drive the Acquisition team to address requirements of large, complex, highest potential and most important accounts to deliver end to end solution s that deliver competitive advantages, create value and drive customer loyalty to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.

3. Lead and support team in the closing of opportunities through skillful negotiation of long-term contracts delivering mutual value.

4. Prepare budgets, reports and forecasts to support financial planning and business needs.  Utilize best practices tools to monitor performance and adapt and act as required.

5. Assist Country Manager in setting vision and aligning employees to maximize potential.  Understand the current and anticipate the landscape to maximize opportunities.  Anticipate and respond to changing market conditions.  Review regularly for fine-tuning.

6. Develop the team by identifying and growing talent in order to achieve the commercial goals, organization vision and deliver customer value.  Identify underperformers and put a plan in place to improve performance within a reasonable time or terminate.  Create a learning organization.  Develop a strong succession plan.

7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure Acquisition team and activities integrate into wider Customer and COMPANY needs.  Model and foster partnerships and teamwork that amplifies value for COMPANY and its customers

8. Leads direct reports to ensure that their team have the necessary background, training, and experience to perform required tasks within his or her job function.
Ensure necessary learning/training is identified and completed as assigned.
Promote and model behaviors that support the learning system.

9. Promote and model adherence to COMPANY policies and procedures ensuring COMPANY Quality and Integrity brand is protected at all time.
