Job Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager (MitraClip, CS and SI) will take primary responsibility for facilitating local marketing plans and marketing execution for Structural Heart therapy.

Product Marketing Manager will drive and lead marketing planning, collaboration, visibility and accountability to mobilize resources across the company and outside the company to execute the annual Marketing strategy. Develops and deploys resources, tools, messages and programs to enable sales. Works closely with sales leadership to understand field capabilities, gaps and needs and enable successful field execution against revenue targets.

Job Duties:.

• Facilitates development and execution of marketing plans and execution to create demand and accelerate commercial adoption of Structural Heart devices.

• Collaborates across multiple internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment and visibility, ensure execution and track progress against integrated business plans. Identifies, predicts, prevents and resolves issues and obstacles impacting the program timeline and execution quality.

• Collaborates with regional and global marketing resources and services to develop tools, messages, data, programs, systems, services and behaviors to develop markets and enable commercialization to produce maximum results in enabling sales of growth driver technologies.

• Works cross-functionally to develop, target and measure training-based initiatives such as Centers of Excellence, peer-to-peer education as well as internal training.

• Using strong business acumen, domain expertise, strategic thinking and data, prioritizes investment of financial and human resources to yield the greatest business results in collaboration with key stakeholders across the company.

• Engages with Market Intelligence and country marketing to drive market and competitive intelligence, update market models

• Develop plans and data to establish launch plans and ensures implementation in support of launch preparation, sales execution and market development.

• Collaborates with physicians and societies to develop the Structural Heart brand in support of market development and therapy advocacy.

• Defines, tracks and reports metrics regarding growth driver planning and execution. Exercises judgment in planning and organizing work; monitors performance and reports status. Uses best business practices to ensure success in areas of responsibility

• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

General Qualifications

• ~5 years of progressively more responsible sales/marketing experience in a class III medical device company or equivalent, including product, market or program management experience.

• A substantive knowledge of the cardiac medical device industry, health care delivery, and managed care/reimbursement markets and the factors that drive them.

• Working experience in cardiology department is preferred.

• A thorough understanding of product and market development with a strong understanding of data development.

• Strong device business acumen, strategic thinking, commercial focus and customer skills.

• Exceptional project management skills. Must be adept at handling multiple assignments and accomplish these projects within budgetary guidelines and within agreed upon timelines.

• Ability to foster collaboration, influence others outside of reporting structure and work collaboratively across a matrix structure.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; the ability to lead a cross-functional team and ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization and with a cross –functional team

• Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, Microsoft Office

• Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.

• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.

• Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.

• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
